“The Capes”, in plural, San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas and Cabo del Este, together and in plural they are "Los Cabos".
Tourists mostly know and refer to Los Cabos Like "Cabo".

The local currency is the Mexican Peso, 1 American Dollar is equivalent to approximately $20 Mexican pesos, 1 Canned Coca Cola costs approximately $75 cents. It is not necessary to change currencies in Los Cabos, the use of the dollar is common and practically everywhere accept dollars.

In San José del Cabo, the summers are long, hot, and muggy; the winters are comfortable and dry; and it is partly cloudy year round. During the course of the year, the temperature generally ranges from 60°F to 93°F, rarely going below 55°F or rising above 96°F.
Based on the beach/pool score, the best time of year to visit San José del Cabo for hot-weather activities is from mid-May to late June.
